Some reflections on the Swedish election 2018

In June 2018 I was participating in a seminarium i Berlin about Right Wing Populism, it was arranged by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. In connection to the meeting Internationale Politik und Gesellschaft made a short interview with me and some of the other participants. They asked me to focus on the forthcoming Swedish election (September 2018).

I was criticising the other parties letting Sweden Democrats set the agenda, and allowing SD to dominate the debate. I suggested they should focus more on their own visions. The meeting was part of a project about writing a book about strategies towards Right Wing Populist partiets in Germany and the Scandinavian Countries, I have written a chapter about Sweden and the book will be presented during autumn 2018.
